This Japanese restaurant is uniquely beautiful inside, the set up, design are colourful.

It’s not “all you can eat restaurant “ but they have unlimited hot pot for two hours period, you can eat meat with all kinds of vegetables in a hot pot!

The food was very good and service too, we loved how they handled our requests. Very accessible location just in the heart of Den Haag.

As a former staff member here a few years ago, I used to enjoy the food immensely. With the recent change in ownership, the quality I remembered is unfortunately no longer the same. I tried a few of their signature dishes, but they didn’t live up to my past expectations, though that may also be because I was hoping for the familiar tastes from before.

The service was good and the food came out at a good pace. However, I didn’t notice any ambient music, which made the atmosphere feel a little flat. Overall, it was an okay experience, but it no longer carries the same charm it once had.

Chicken katsu was nice. So much rice, I was very full. Now I found a place to go to when I’m missing Japanese curry rice. My husband’s miso ramen was also good, but more noodles would be better. Broth tasted alright. Mochi ice cream for dessert was good. I especially like the Yuzu mochi.

We’ve been the customer of this place for over three years, visiting almost every month. Yesterday, after skipping a month, we returned, only to find the restaurant nearly empty on a Friday evening, with only four groups of diners. Moreover, none of the familiar staff were there, which struck me as odd.

Soon, I noticed significant changes in the service, the way dishes were presented, and the overall dining experience. The cuts of meat for the hot pot were completely different from what I liked and was accustomed to, and the sashimi was very ordinary which were lacking the refreshing taste and freshness it used to have. I brought a friend along, hoping to share my favorite Japanese flavors, but we left disappointed. The signature Japanese SET style was nowhere to be found.

I feel regretful that I didn’t get the chance to thank and say goodbye to the previous staff. Their smiles and service were truly grented and 100 out of 100. Meanwhile, I feel a deep loss for the disappearance of a restaurant I used to like so much.
