My doctor recommended this center to check for a possible rizoarthrosis. Upon my first visit, a student therapist assessed my condition and determined that I needed a custom-made splint (about 90 euro!). I was surprised that a student would make such a diagnosis, but I trusted their expertise. However, the splint they provided was not at all effective, and I experienced additional pain in another part of my hand after a week of wearing it. The student simply dismissed my concerns, stating that these types of reactions are common and that I should continue using the splint. Two weeks later, I had an appointment with an intern therapist, who decided to create a new splint. While this one was slightly better, it still failed to address the new pain I was experiencing. I decided to try a regular splint from a store, and to my surprise, it provided much more relief. I expressed my concerns to the therapists, suggesting that the custom-made splints might not be suitable for my specific needs. However, they continued to maintain that such discomfort can occur without addressing my concerns. Overall, my experience at this hand therapy center was disappointing. I never interacted with a qualified physiotherapist, and my questions and concerns were never adequately addressed. After a month of treatment, I still had no clarity regarding my condition, and the hand pain persisted. The intern therapist's statement that I should consult my GP to confirm the diagnosis felt unprofessional and dismissive of the issue. While the therapists were polite and courteous, their lack of expertise and inadequate care led to a frustrating and ineffective treatment experience. I would not recommend this service to anyone seeking professional help with hand pain.

Na een kneuzing bleef mijn vinger krom staan. De huisarts verwees me naar Xpert. Ik werd heel goed geïnformeerd over wat er aan de hand was😅 en kreeg duidelijke aanwijzingen om oefeningen te doen. Heel sympathieke handfysio die echt van haar vak houdt, je bent daar in goede handen!
